The plan / view of Zagreb in sepia technique shows all the streets and houses from Trnje and the train station in the south to the Gupčeva zvijezda (Gubec Star) in the north, Črnomerec in the west and Trg N (today's Square of the victims of fascism) in the east in a semi-perspective. Because all the buildings are visible, the plan is very valuable for tracking the development of the city in the first half of the 20th century.
BALKAN MENTOR
BALKAN MENTOR, an early 20th century publisher of panoramic plans from Beograd. The majority of cartographic editions published by this cartographic publishing house date from 1926, including a number of Zagreb panoramas. Some of them are very accurate and detailed, which makes them invaluable for reconstructing the development of the cities, and some of them are accompanied by texts written by D. Brössler.
