Poreč is depicted from the sea, to see the hinterland and the island of St. Nicholas. The view is somewhat similar to the view of Braun and Hogenberg from 1576, but it is difficult to conclude whether it was created according to this template or directly. There is a framed inscription in the lower left corner: Histrie siue Dalmatie, opp. It is possible that, as in the case of Dubrovnik (map no. 390), the view was drawn and engraved by Martin Rota Kolunić.
