A MAP EXHIBITING THE ROUTE BETWEEN TRIESTE TO ZADAR

In accordance with its title the map shows the area stretching between Trieste and Zadar. It was enclosed to the Italian travel book entitled «Itinerario italiano, o descrizione dei viaggi per le strade più frequentate alle principali città d’Italia» published in Milan by Pietro and Giuseppe Vallardi. Just as precedent maps (No. 275 and No. 277) this maps was enclosed to the travel book to enable the reader to follow the itinerary described. Besides the coastal features, islands, inland areas and major settlements, the map shows the network of rivers and lines of road communication between Trieste and Zadar. The map’s mileage scale is expressed in Italian miles.
